It looks like Kirby was helping the PPC Candidate, I didn’t want to go there, however he’s talking “Resume’s” and “Execution” and “Expertise” and I don’t see him being in place to make a smug face and tell the Libertarian Membership they should shut up on the internet. Especially since Being Libertarian is nothing but “Internet Opinions,” hell his own position is an insult to people like Eric July who does great just spreading his non-specialized opinions with common sense and sources all the time.
If this guy wins and gives me a talk about how I run, he’s going to get a lot of words. I did better than Tim Moen, to his credit, he at least cleared 407. Our over worked President Coreen got 360.
This is the practical resume of a Candidate. Getting votes is execution. He prides himself of calling 1 guy to be a leadership Candidate, a previous article have links to the debate. Jacques is at least too proud of this actuary business, which is cost/benefit analysis. Frankly wish he was up for Treasurer or President of the party with that background when I think of his background. Even VP. He’d be invaluable there. Darcy is a humble man from the West, if I had a second choice, despite the 2017 result. Lorne, not sure. Seems untested in a lot of ways.
I favor the notion of a Western Leader, with a Western Platform, the thing that got the Greens and Reform their influence and growth.
Not to speak ill of Easterners, however they will try to vote for “lesser of evils,” and be all-in Con or Liberal. BC has no need for strategic voting, Alberta a little less. Sask none, if we are lucky. BC and Alberta will never chose a Government, we can chose an opposition. A real one, a Libertarian one.

Just on the generic, so to allow people to come to things organically. In leadership considerations, watch for think tank types who use slogans and dogma with talking points that generic and appealing in it’s sort of practiced in front of a mirror way.
Think tanks are especially an issue with me, given that my view is libertarian think tanks are run/controlled by right wing persons like the Koch brothers to keep us from winning anything, to benefit the rightist authoritarian parties. In addition making us feel like it’s futile. Which often it does, I want to see an end to this feeling of futility, I want Libertarians to be a place to at least have a generation to see Government Governed and no Individuals.
